To bolster Biomedical Science Day we created a COVID-19 testing animation, where we put the laboratory processes into the context of the patient’s sample and its journey from swab to result. The scientific language is paired down but it is never inaccurate – and the process is humanised in a way that means everyone can invest and understand.
