Tuesday, November 17, 2020 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM · 1 hr. (Africa/Abidjan)
Information
Over the past 50 years, a significant evolution of food consumption has led to the development of a mass industrial food supply and the emergence of food deserts. Consequently, the quality of our daily diet has been declining, leading to the growth of diseases like obesity, cardiovascular problems or diabetes. Join two of our 2020 Ashoka Fellows, Stéphane Gigandet (France) and Katie Plohocky (USA), to discover how communities can revolutionize the way the food industry is operating. Learn about their work today as well as how they are thinking about how to build resilient food systems all over the world
