Kneeton Healthcare have entered into an agreement with Kensington International Marketing Company Ltd (KIMCO) around the commercialisation of Hydrostomate.
Hydrostomate is a specialist hydration drink for people who don’t have a colon, those with a stoma or people experiencing chronic diarrhea. These conditions carry the risk of severe dehydration due to poor fluid and essential mineral absorption. Symptoms include thirst, headaches, fatigue, muscular weakness, cramping, nausea and irritability.
Hydrostomate has been specifically formulated to make sure that the person is able to absorb and retain water and the essential salts & minerals required to stay properly hydrated. It is based on a specialist hydration drink called St. Mark’s Solution, which has been widely researched and is shown to be the best way rehydrate when you live with a stoma.
