A Bear Named Buttony
Information
A Bear Named Buttony exists to support children and young people living with a stoma. For children we provide a bear with a stoma, Buttony, along with two children’s story books and a colouring book. For older children and young adults we gift a wash bag full of helpful non medical items to help them adjust to life with a stoma. We also support paediatric stoma nurses with training resources to better prepare children and families prior to surgery. We aim to raise positive awareness of stomas in general through everything we do.
