The Kingston Trust CIO
Information
The Kingston Trust was originally established in 1962 to provide assistance to ileostomists aged 50 years and over experiencing financial hardship. In 2017 the Trust applied to the Charity Commission to become a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation). This enabled the Trust to widen its constitution to include persons with an ileostomy or ileo-anal pouch aged 16 years and over living in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland experiencing financial hardship.
The Kingston Trust CIO trustees will consider all qualifying grant applications, including: beds, bedding, household appliances, mobility aids, house modifications/maintenance.
