Fondazione Cariplo

Fondazione Cariplo is a philanthropic foundation that awards non-repayable grants to non-profit organizations and public bodies for the implementation of projects and initiatives.

Our area of operation, Lombardy and the provinces of Novara and Verbano Cusio Ossola, is large and densely populated, with a great diversity and wealth of entities, with varied skills that determine different and local needs. In this context, we want to be the entity that brings people together to create the conditions for the dissemination of good practices that are adapted to the specific characteristics of the territories and communities.

We operate mainly through the allocation of non-repayable grants to non-profit organizations and public bodies for the implementation of projects and initiatives through various funding instruments.

Since 1991, Fondazione Cariplo has contributed to the implementation of over 40,000 projects in the fields of art and culture, the environment, scientific research, and social issues, providing more than €4.2 billion to these initiatives.
