Information

La Vie en Bleu: The Blue Dahlia’s red-hot music from both sides of the Atlantic. Guided by a puckish refinement and gritty ingenuity, singer-songwriter and ukulele-ist, originally from Brooklyn and today based in both NYC and Paris, explores diverse musical traditions from her eclectic and international background, with a passion for singing honestly about the human experience in a world where money often comes before humanity. Through a global lens and with international collaborators, everything from Yiddish poetry to chopsticks on glass, Balkan/French/TexMex accordion, klezmer violin, international grooves and tap shoes, and lyrics in French and English are used to make free-thinking, high-spirited songs. An organic sound with an electric, and infectious energy.
