Our Public Works Business Diversity Program is working to remove barriers for Washington state small, minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses to participate in engineering, architectural, and public works contracts and subcontracts.

DES provides centralized business services to state government agencies; to other public entities such as cities and counties; to tribal governments; and to Washington residents. Our mission is to strengthen the business of government. We do this by creating overall operating efficiencies so our state's government entities can focus on their core missions.
