RATP, managing one of Europe's busiest rail lines, the RER A, faced recurring delays that frustrated passengers and resulted in millions of euros in financial losses. To tackle this, Piwwop developed a graph model mapping the dependencies between trains, conductors, and stations. This allowed for precise predictions of how minor delays could spread across the network. Using this model, Piwwop built a custom AI tool that provided real-time insights and suggested interventions to halt delay propagation, helping RATP reduce disruptions and improve operational efficiency.
