HYDRO CIRCAL® 75R RECYCLED ALUMINIUM

Hydro CIRCAL® 75R is a range of prime quality aluminium made with at least 75% recycled post-consumer scrap aluminium. Windows, doors and facades that have reached the end of their lifecycle in a building are dismantled, fully recycled and re-used again. Solutions using Hydro CIRCAL® 75R have the highest share of recycled aluminium content on the market - at least 75%. When recycling aluminium, it takes just 5% of the energy required to produce primary aluminium, so the more recycled end-of-life aluminium is in the alloy, the better it is for the environment as the CO2 footprint is reduced to 2.3kg per kilo of aluminium. This is 84% less than the worldwide average for primary extraction. Hydro CIRCAL® 75R is independently verified and can help achieve Green Building Certifications such as BREEAM, LEED and DGNB.
