Global flooring manufacturer Interface has put tackling embodied carbon emissions at the heart of its Climate Take Back™ mission. In this session, Jon Khoo, Head of Sustainability (EAAA) will share Interface’s journey to reimagine its products and support the design community in responding to the climate emergency. In recent years, Interface has set a new standard by offering carbon neutral products across its portfolio of carpet tile, LVT and nora® rubber flooring.

In October 2020, the company launched its CQuest backings, the first to incorporate carbon negative materials. Jon will share key trends on how manufacturers, designers and specifiers can collaborate to work towards net-zero architecture. Moreover, how architects should be challenging manufacturers to design with carbon and the climate in mind.
