The Enterprise AI Strategist will be a key leader in harnessing the power of Augmented Intelligence (AI) to drive strategic initiatives at Arizona State University. This position will report directly to ASU’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) as well as a dotted line reporting structure to the EVP and Chief Operating Officer of ASU, and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive AI strategy in alignment with the university's goals, mission and charter: ASU is a comprehensive public research university, measured not by whom it excludes, but by whom it includes and how they succeed; advancing research and discovery of public value; and assuming fundamental responsibility for the economic, social, cultural and overall health of the communities it serves.

Requirements
Desired Qualifications
Proven experience in developing and implementing technology-related strategies within complex organizations.
Extensive knowledge of advanced technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, data science and data visualization.
Experience working in a university setting or with academic institutions is preferred.
Previous executive-level leadership experience in AI strategy and implementation.
Advanced and relevant educational degree.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
Strong leadership, team management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to a diverse audience.
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and achieve organizational buy-in for AI initiatives.
