When Acme Brick was founded in 1891, it was customary for homes and buildings to be clad in a single type of material. In our original home market, likely as not that material was Acme Brick. Today, however, it is common to see buildings with as many as five different types of cladding. So as always, Acme Brick is responding to the changing needs and preferences of our customers. In our reconfigured Innovative Building Products division, we have brought together many of the world’s most innovative cladding solutions: - Thin brick – 9 different lines including our own thinBRIK series - Natural stone – including Acme’s exclusive Stonebrook line and the CUPACLAD wall system paired with natural Vermont Slate - Premier metal cladding from MAC Metal Architectural, imported from Canada - Ceramic and terracotta cladding systems – Agrob Buchtal - Advanced high-pressure laminate panels, such as Pura NFC by Trespa - Panel-based fastening systems, including our patented Fast Track System
Acme Brick Company2237Acme Brick has been a trusted supplier of fired clay brick for architects, building owners, contractors, and institutions for more than 100 years. At four architectural brick plants, Acme produces a broad selection of brick in on-trend colors and textures. We offer architects the capability to produce special shapes for their most daring designs, with expert technical assistance as needed from on-staff registered engineers. We sell our brick directly in more than 50 locations across 13 states – and through a distributor network that covers all 48 contiguous U.S. states and four Canadian provinces. Acme also offers an expanding array of thin brick from King Klinker, Metro Thin Brick, CityScape, English Cottage, as well as Fusion glazed thin brick. But brick is only the beginning. Acme carries premier cladding products from around the world, including MAC Metal Architectural, Pura® NFC by Trespa, Vermont Slate, CupaClad slate, and Agrob Buchtal ceramic facade systems. Many of these are compatible with Acme’s own Fast Track System, a versatile aluminum track-based installation system for horizontal as well as vertical applications, retrofit as well as new construction.
