Instabase is a horizontal application platform for unstructured data that offers best-in-class deep learning innovation and a suite of intelligent building blocks to automate end-to-end workflows. The first generation of applications built on the Instabase platform is tackling document understanding, traditionally a time consuming and manual process for businesses. Its platform helps the world’s largest banks and insurance companies like Standard Chartered and NatWest digitize documents, split-classify by type (i.e. bank statements, passports, payslips etc.) and extract information regardless of the structure (or lack thereof), ultimately transforming it for business decisioning while sitting alongside the existing tech stack. In just over a year in the market, Instabase has over 150 use cases in production, with the top 4 out of 5 US banks as customers using Instabase’s tools to automate complex business processes ranging from processing the largest volume of PPP loans in the country, to automating the entire insurance claims process.
