Founded in 2012, France Digitale is the largest start-up association in Europe. France Digitale
brings together the champions of digital entrepreneurship: it gathers 1500 digital startups with strong growth plans and more than 100 investors (venture capitalists and business angels).
FD has been leading AI debates in France and in Europe via the publication of comprehensive studies and the organization of major events. France Digitale launched the “French
startup players in Artificial Intelligence mapping” and shed light on the European Artificial Intelligence ecosystem with Roland Berger in the study “Joining the Dots: a map of Europe’s AI ecosystem” (2018 & 2019). In April 2019, France Digitale launched the European Commission’s AI4EU project at the “European AI Night’, a unique meeting of C-Levels and AI-Makers from all over Europe. In October 2019, France Digitale organizes the fourth edition of the France is AI Conference in Station F, the world biggest startup campus, in Paris. Every year the event brings together French and EU policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, VCs and executives to celebrate the AI ecosystem. As France’s largest AI event, it gathers more than 100 speakers, 2500 attendees and 100 journalists.
France Digitale proposals for the European Commission were released under the pan-European manifesto “United Tech of Europe” bringing together 30 organisations from 27
Member States.
