The Springboard Charity was set up 33 years ago and our mission is to futureproof the talent pipeline for hospitality by giving young and unemployed people the skills and confidence to launch their careers in the industry.
Each year, we reach 148,000 people and support 5,000 people into work in hospitality through the three main areas of our work – employability training, careers & education resources and the CareerScope platform. Over the next three years, we will reach 444,000 people and support 15,000 people into work in hospitality.
We promote hospitality, leisure and tourism as great places to work, through strategic partnerships with employers, ambassador and alumni networks, the government, employment referral agencies, educational establishments, industry bodies and other key influencers.
The organisation has won multiple awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Volunteering Award in 2023.
