Information
This session will illustrate some of the scientific activities on Africa conducted by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) in collaboration with a variety of African and other international partners. It will start by a presentation of the Africa Knowledge Platform – a visual and interactive gateway to this multi-disciplinary work – followed by a discussion on how to strengthen the role of Science, Technology and Innovation in supporting the policy goals of the AU-EU partnership.
From 9:00 am to 10:30 am, two thematic parallel sessions will focus in detail on various relevant topics and will be reported in the plenary session:
