Trans Europe Halles is bigger than the Vatican City and has more visitors than the whole Finland!

Trans Europe Halles (TEH) is a European network of cultural centres initiated by citizens and artists that has been at the forefront of repurposing Europe’s industrial buildings for arts and culture since 1983. TEH connects 140 grassroots cultural centres from 40 countries in Europe. Our members are multidisciplinary, non-governmental cultural centres, Third Spaces and creative hubs initiated by citizens and artists.

We are the oldest cultural network in Europe, but we are very young in our hearts and curiosity.
