We digitalized clinical trials in the early 1980’s and we’re moving quicker and quicker – not the least during the pandemic. Regulators have had a hard time keeping up but they are coming up to speed. From a data management perspective, technologies and processes have in many cases been determined over their head. Clinical trials are complex and costly, and many companies don’t have the finances, competence or knowledge to be up to speed. Does the industry have an overall vision of where digitalisation is going, and will all organisations be there? This session is going to examine where the industry could be going next – and how to stitch the different technologies and processes together.
