Just transition combatting poverty

This session will discuss the role of the JTM and other EU instruments in reducing and preventing poverty in its different forms. It will tackle not only energy poverty, but also other forms of poverty such as transport poverty, as well as related issues such as access to housing. By examining challenges, policy frameworks, and successful initiatives, the session aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the just transition can act as catalyst for poverty alleviation, fostering an inclusive and sustainable path forward for just transition regions.
