JTF hands-on: roundtable discussion with Commissioner Ferreira and regional representatives

Since the end of 2022, 67 Territorial Just Transition Plans (TJTPs) and Just Transition Fund (JTF) programmes are approved in 26 Member States. The implementation phase is now in full swing as the affected regions start spending the funds in accordance with the measures and priorities outlined in the approved plans.
Opening the event, Commissioner Elisa Ferreira will lead a roundtable discussion on the implementation of the JTF with high-level regional representatives, focused on the ambitions included in the plans and the opportunities that the fund has unlocked in their regions. The session will highlight key projects that provide new economic opportunities for the territories affected by the transition, but also the challenges that the regions are facing in JTF implementation.
