Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol is a molecule that activates the same receptors as retinoids, although its chemical structure is different. In this case, it is a phytoretinol, equivalent to vitamin A of vegetable origin, extracted from the seeds of the Psoralea coryfolia plant. Its high tolerance on the skin does not cause redness or peeling. 

Bakuchiol has become a highly valued asset due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating action, among other benefits. Its action activates fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin naturally, inhibits enzymes that degrade collagen and reduces blemishes on the skin. This component is not photosensitizing or photosensitive, so it can be used in summer.
