Mixed eMotion Theatrix is a multidisciplinary dance/theater company dedicated to telling timeless stories that celebrate humanity drawn from folk tales, myths, classic literature, new histories and biographies. The company creates unique, multi-disciplinary performances that are grounded in modern themes to inform, educate, and enlighten contemporary audiences.
Mixed eMotion Theatrix presents excerpts from two productions:
"Gatsby Redux," Dance/Theater. This site-specific work, performed in unique venues, is inspired by “The Great Gatsby.” It premiered on the grounds of Disney Hall, now touring Internationally. Fee $25,000, two performances (excluding airfare, hotels.)
“Hans Christian Andersen’s The Shadow,” Multi-Disciplinary. A new family production, this production combines original song, dance, projections, and large-scale puppetry to tell Andersen's fairy tale. Act One, the Andersen tale, Act Two continues the story, taking the Shadow on an epic journey of self-discovery and redemption. The production received a grant from the Jim Henson Foundation. Premiering Fall 2026. Fee TBD
