Paul Fireman is the Chairman of Fireman Capital located in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2006 Mr. Fireman was Chairman & CEO of Reebok International Ltd in Canton, Massachusetts. He introduced the first women’s athletic shoe in 1982 and throughout the years, began aggressive international expansion of his company. Today, the company’s products are sold in more than 170 countries. Considered a bold marketer but prudent financial manager, Fireman consistently espoused the idea that Reebok products must “make a difference” and “create excitement.” “To the extent that your brand makes a difference and stands for something special, people will recognize it and reward you for it,” Fireman says. Before founding Reebok, Mr. Fireman was an officer in an outdoor sports distributorship owned by his family. He attended Boston University and is a graduate of Tabor Academy. Mr. Fireman and his wife, Phyllis, reside in Palm Beach , Florida as well as Brookline, MA. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Paul and Phyllis are trustees of the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Charitable Foundation based in Boston, Massachusetts. The family foundation dedicates a major share of its funding resources to ending family homelessness in the Commonwealth and beyond. The Foundation also supports an array of other causes including health and wellness. Today, much of Fireman’s time is spent developing exciting new ventures with his son Dan, Managing Partner of Fireman Capital Partners. Together they have built Liberty National Golf Club, a one of a kind, world class golf club in Jersey City, New Jersey, overlooking the skyline of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
