2D Artist

We’ve built a unique and joyful product called Bramble that allows people to gather online in a more human way. Gizmodo called it “the video-conferencing platform I wish existed at the start of the pandemic.” Bramble is seeking a contractor 2D artist to create visual assets for the virtual worlds that Bramble users explore and gather in. The ideal candidate will be highly flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside our Digital Art Manager as well as other 2D artists to take existing asset concepts and bring them to life utilizing skilled digital art and photo manipulation techniques to match with Bramble’s surreal photo-collage style. Required Qualifications: • 3-5 years experience in illustration, game art, and/or digital art • A strong portfolio showcasing digital art skills and a strong understanding of form, perspective, lighting • At home using Photoshop • Familiarity with photo manipulation, and the ability to combine photo textures and elements with hand-drawn illustrations • Able to provide polished art assets while meeting strict deadlines • Good communication skills • Strong organizational skills and file management Ideal Qualifications • Game art experience is a plus • Comfortable with creating tileable assets • Experience working in startup environments To apply send an email to molly@artery.is
