Micronizing Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate - Air Classifier Mills vs. Jet Mills

The final stage of producing battery grade lithium carbonate is the micronizing stage. This stage is very important as battery cell manufacturers require a very fine particle size for the lithium carbonate that is used in the production of batteries. There are two different milling technologies that  are currently being used to produce this desired particle size distribution – air classifier mills and jet mills. Each have their distinct advantages. The presentation will examine the benefits of both.
