Produced water from oil and gas operations, once viewed as waste, is now emerging as an untapped resource for the energy transition. This session dives into how KBR and Geolith have combined their cutting-edge technologies, PureLi® and Li-Capt®, to extract high-purity, battery-grade lithium from oil and gas field brines. Delegates will discover how leveraging existing oil and gas infrastructure can dramatically reduce the cost and environmental footprint of lithium production, while opening the door for traditional energy players to pivot into the EV and battery value chain.
