We will hear from different DCED member representatives on how the shift towards a more interest-based development paradigm has practically affected (or is likely to affect) their work in PSD, and what is being done to navigate tensions and enhance synergies.
- Rens Twijnstra, NL MoFA, with insights into the shift towards a more interest-based PSD approach in the Netherlands, and practical examples of both tensions and synergies between domestic trade and development effectiveness considerations
- Elisabet Montgomery, Sida, on the recent linking of domestic trade benefits and PSD in Sweden, and implications for Sida's organisational structure as well as project design and implementation on the ground
- Tobias Leeg, GIZ, on change and continuity in the parameters for PSD in the German context, including sectoral examples related to access to critical raw materials and green trade and investment
- Cormac Quinn, FCDO - commentary on experiences shared in light of current discussions in FCDO
