Virginia Wairimu joined Balloon Ventures in 2019 as an Investment Manager before taking over leadership of the Kenyan Office in 2022. She is responsible for the end-to-end investment process and also manages the pre and post-investment teams. She previously worked in the investment banking and brokerage industry in various capacities for over 9 years. Virginia’s passions are data and entrepreneurship. She holds a MSc in Social Statistics from University of Nairobi and a BSc in Actuarial Science.
