Audrey Desiderato is Head of the Mirova inclusive transition initiative ("Miti"), a new non profit initiative that emphasizes Mirova’s vision of a sustainable and inclusive global economy. Miti's mission is to accelerate the growth and impact of companies working at the crossroads of climate innovation and poverty reduction in developing and emerging markets with an initial focus on energy access and sustainable land use. Audrey was previously Co-Founder and COO of SunFunder, a leading specialised debt financier for distributed solar in Sub-Saharan Africa. Following SunFunder's acquisition by Mirova in 2022, Audrey was instrumental in managing the post acquisition integration process. Audrey has been based in East Africa since 2013 and currently lives in Nairobi with her 4 year old son and 11 year old dog. She is passionate about mentoring women and local founders, inclusive leadership and nurturing mental health through mindfulness.
