Jenny currently leads CRS' humanitarian cash, markets and food security and livelihoods portfolio as a Senior Technical Advisor and Team Lead for the Market Based Rapid Response and Recovery Team. Having worked in a range of complex and protracted emergencies for the last 14 years, including Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Ukraine, Greece, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, India, Palestine, Ethiopia, Sudan, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkiye, and Jordan, she has experience providing a range of programme design and implementation support focused on market-based programming, cash and voucher assistance (CVA), and food security and livelihoods recovery in rural and urban contexts, including cash feasibility assessments, delivery mechanism mapping, market assessment and analysis, design of cash and voucher programmes, programme set-up and management, training, development of operational guidance and tools and providing technical support to partners and consortia. One of her priorities with CRS has been supporting the integration of cash and markets-based approaches in the shelter and WASH sectors, including overseeing the development of frameworks and tools to integrate Market Systems Development into CRS' Homes and Communities Strategic Change Platform. Jenny currently supports the hosting of the Markets in Crisis (MiC) Community of Practice, along with Mercy Corps. Jenny has an MA in Post-Conflict Recovery Studies, and is currently based in the UK.
