ALFI 35: Echoes of Leadership

"The Years of Plenty." That's how Rafik Fischer fondly recalls his four-year tenure from 1998 to 2001. Assuming the ALFI presidency at a youthful 37 years old, Rafik retains the distinction of being ALFI's youngest chairperson to this day. During his time, when the association operated with just one full-time employee, 10 more permanent staff members joined the team under his leadership.
