Giselle or about us / ジゼル、またはわたしたちについて

“Giselle or about us” is a modern version of the dreamy romantic ballet Giselle, adapted and recreated by waqu:iraz using “Devising Theatre” which is one of company’s creative distinctions. Devising Theatre is a theatrical creating method in which directors, choreographers, and actors work together to create productions without the use of existing plays. This is the entertainment show incorporating dance and music, and depicts the various worries and conflicts of people living in modern Japan, such as gender and identity.
